  SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: In accordance with the Atlantic Coastal Fisheries Cooperative Management Act (Atlantic Coastal Act), 16 U.S.C. et seq., the Secretary of Commerce (Secretary) announces his determination that the State of New Jersey did not implement the measures required by the Atlantic States Marine Fishery Commission's Addendum. (4) The responsibility for managing Atlantic coastal fisheries rests with the States, which carry out a cooperative program of fishery oversight and management through the Atlan-tic States Marine Fisheries Commission. It is the responsibility of the Federal Government to support such cooperative interstate man-agement of coastal fishery resources.

  The funding was made possible by the Modernizing Recreational Fisheries Management Act of (or Modern Fish Act). NOAA Fisheries, under the Modern Fish Act, must establish state-federal partnerships to improve recreational fisheries data collection. Other programs receiving funding are the Atlantic Coastal Cooperative Statistics Program. (B): Atlantic Coastal Fisheries Cooperative Management Act; Local Auditors. The following local auditors have experience auditing this program. implementation, and enforcement of effective interstate conservation and management of Atlantic Coastal resources. Activities conducted under projects will be used to collect information.
